This doll is made to resemble the Lottie Dolls, and is designed to be able to fit into a shopping trolley similar to those that can be purchased at Tiger.

For the hair:
cut strands of yarn that are a little more than twice the length you want your hair to be; I cut strands approximately 8cm long, and I used roughly 70 of them.
Attach them to the head by folding them in half and using a crochet hook to pull the folded end through your crochet, before threading the opposite end through the loop this makes. If you are unsure of what to do I have some pictures that may be helpful on my Little hedgehog pattern
For the eyes (make 2):
with a 0.6mm hook and white 3ply yarn ch4
sc in the 2nd chain st from hook, sc in the next chain st, 3sc im the last chain st, sc in the back of the previous chain stitch you crocheted into, make 2sc into the first chain st you crocheted into, slip the first st of this round

using yarn the colour of the itises embroider circles for the iris, and then use black to embroider pupils on over the top of this iris, using the pictures below as a reference. After you have done this see the eyes onto the face using black yarn, sewing most of the way round but leaving a gap in the middle. If you need more guidance doing this feel free to comment below and I will try to explain it better
Note - if you'd like your doll to look less gothic you may want to sew the eyes on using white and then outline them by embroidering straight onto the face around the eyes using either the 4ply yarn or a thinner 3ply or similar.
For the ears (make 2):
with a 1mm hook make a magic loop with 3sc
Fasten off
Sew these onto the side of the head.
For the eyebrows:
With yarn the same colour as the head embroider the eyebrows onto your doll using backstitch.
For the nose:
if you would like your nose to be more defined out a few stitches in the nose to pull it together and give it more shape.
