You will need:
- 2.5mm crochet hook
- 4ply yarn in white, grey/silver and whatever colour you want to make your dress.
- A darning needle
- A small button
- A small amount of 5mm wide wire
For the dress:

Round 1: sc in the first st of the of the row, sc in each st to end (47sc)
Rounds 2 - 9: (8 rounds) sc in each st around (47sc)
Round 10: sc2tog, (sc in the first st, sc2tog in the next st) 15 times to end (31sc)
Row 11: (sc2tog, sc in the next 2 sts) 7 times to the last 3 sts, sc2tog, sc in the last st. ch1, turn (23sc)
Rows 12 - 17: (6 rows) sc in each st. ch1, turn (23sc)
Row 18: sc in each st, turn (23sc)
Row 19: slip the first 8 sts, sc in the next 7 sts, slip the last 8 sts, turn
Row 20: slip the first 2 sts, ch8, skip the next 6 sts from base of chain, sc in the next 2sts, slip the next 3sts, sc in the next 2sts, ch8, skip 6 sts from base of chain, slip the last 2 sts
Fasten off
For the ice skates:
Make a magic loop with 6sc
Round 1: 2sc in each st (12sc)
Round 2: sc in the first st, 2sc in the next st, rep to end (18sc)
Round 3: sc in the first 2 sts, 2sc in the next st, rep to end. ch1, turn (24sc)
Round 4: sc in the back loop of each st
Round 5: sc in each loop of each st
Round 6: (this is slightly less than one round) sc3tog, sc in the next 20 sts (22sc)
Round 7: (this is slightly more than 1 round) sc3tog, sc in the next 17 sts, sc5tog (16sc)
Rounds 8 - 9: (2 rounds) sc in each st (16sc)
Fasten off
The fiddliest bit of the bear is attaching the bottom of the skates. Hook the wire over a stitch at the back of the skate and fold it down. Then hook the other end over a stitch at the front of the skate and bend them into place so that you're happy with how they look. Trim the ends if they're too long, but make sure they're not too short that the wire is likely to fall out. Wind a length of yarn around the wire, making sure that it covers it completely.
