This little tiger is designed to fit into any of the clothes made for my little animals collection (a full list can be found here).

You will need:
- dk yarn in orange, white and black
- fluffy dk yarn in white
- a 2mm crochet hook
- toy stuffing
- a darning needle
For the body :
With grey make a magic loop with 6sc
Round 1: 2sc in each st (12sc)
Round 2: sc in the first st, 2sc in the next st, rep to end (18sc)
Round 3: sc in the first 2 sts, 2sc in the next st, rep to end(24sc)
Rounds 4 - 9: (6 rounds) sc in each st (24sc)
Round 10: sc in the first 2 sts, sc2tog, rep to end (18sc)Round 11: sc in the first st, sc2tog, rep to end (12sc)
Round 12: sc in the first st, sc2tog, rep to end (8sc)
Round 13 - 15: (3 rounds) sc in each st
Fasten off
Stuff
For the legs (make 2):
Sew this to the body
Round 1: 2sc in each st (12sc)
Sew this to the bottom and sides of the head
Round 13 - 15: (3 rounds) sc in each st
Fasten off

For the arms (make 2):
With black make a magic loop with 6sc
Round 1: sc in the first st, 2sc in the next st, rep to end (9sc)
Rounds 2 - 3: (2 rounds) sc in each st (9sc)
Round 4: sc in the first st, sc2tog, rep to end (6sc)
Round 5: sc in each st
Fasten off black yarn and fasten on grey yarn.
Rounds 6 - 9: (4 rounds) sc in each st (6sc)
Fasten off
With black make a magic loop with 6sc
Round 1: sc in the first st, 2sc in the next st, rep to end (9sc)
Rounds 2 - 3: (2 rounds) sc in each st (9sc)
Round 4: sc in the first st, sc2tog, rep to end (6sc)
Round 5: sc in each st
Fasten off black yarn and fasten on grey yarn.
Rounds 6 - 9: (4 rounds) sc in each st (6sc)
Fasten off
Lightly stuff these arms and sew them to the sides of the body
For the legs (make 2):
With black make a magic loop with 6sc
Round 1: 2sc in each st (12sc)
Round 2: sc in the first 3 sts, 2cs in the next st, rep to end (15sc)
Rounds 3- 4: (2 rounds) sc in each st (15sc)
Round 5: sc2tog 3 times, sc in the last 9 sts (12sc)
Round 6: sc in the first 2 sts, sc2tog, rep to end (9sc)
Fasten off. Fasten on in grey yarn
Rounds 7 - 10: (4 rounds) sc in each st (9sc)
Rounds 3- 4: (2 rounds) sc in each st (15sc)
Round 5: sc2tog 3 times, sc in the last 9 sts (12sc)
Round 6: sc in the first 2 sts, sc2tog, rep to end (9sc)
Fasten off. Fasten on in grey yarn
Rounds 7 - 10: (4 rounds) sc in each st (9sc)
Fasten off
Stuff the legs and sew them to the underside of the body
Stuff the legs and sew them to the underside of the body
For the tummy patch:
With white dk yarn ch5
Round 1: sc in the 2nd chain st from hook, sc in each of the next 2 chain sts, 3sc in the next chain st (the first one you made), sc into the back of each of the previous 2 chain sts you crocheted into in turn, 2sc in the back of the first chain st you crocheted into
Round 2: 2sc in the first st, sc2, 2sc in each of the next 3sts, sc2, 2sc in each of the next 2sts (16sc)
Round 3: Sc, 2sc in the next st, sc2, (sc, 2sc in the following st) 3 times, sc2, (sc, 2sc in the next st) twice
Fasten off
Fasten off
Sew this to the body
For the head:
Make a magic loop with 6scRound 1: 2sc in each st (12sc)
Rounds 2 - 4: (3 rounds) sc in each st
Round 5: 2sc in each of the first 5sts, sc7 (17sc)
Round 6: (Sc, 2sc in the next st) 5 times, sc7 (22sc)
Round 7: (Sc2, 2sc in the next st) 5 times, sc7 (27sc)
Round 8: (Sc3, 2sc in the next st) 5 times, sc7 (32sc)
Rounds 9 - 11: (3 rounds) Sc in each st
Round 12: (Sc14, sc2tog) twice (30sc)
Round 13: Sc3, sc2tog, rep to end (24sc)
Round 14: sc2, sc2tog, rep to end (18sc)
Stuff firmly
Round 15: sc, sc2tog, rep to end (12sc)
Round 16: sc2tog to end (6sc)
Fasten off
Sew this to the body
For the tail:
With orange make a magic loop with 4sc
Rows 1 - 11 (11 rows) sc in each st
Fasten off
Sew this to the body
Round 14: sc2, sc2tog, rep to end (18sc)
Stuff firmly
Round 15: sc, sc2tog, rep to end (12sc)
Round 16: sc2tog to end (6sc)
Fasten off
Sew this to the body
For the tail:
With orange make a magic loop with 4sc
Rows 1 - 11 (11 rows) sc in each st

For the mouth/ cheek patches:
with white dk yarn ch3

Round 1: sc in the 2nd chain st from hook, 3sc in the next chain st (the first one you made), 2sc in the back of the first chain st you crocheted into
Round 2: 2sc in each st, ch7
Row 3: Skip the first 2 chain sts, sc in the next 2 chain sts, hdc in the next 3 chain sts, hdc3 across the bottom of the oval section, ch7
Row 4: Skip the first 2 chain sts, sc in the next 2, hdc in the following 3, slip1.
For the eye patches (make 2):
Make a magic loop with 1sc. Ch1, turn
Row 1: 2sc in this st. ch1, turn (2sc)
Row 2: Sc, 2sc in the next st (3sc)
Fasten off
For the 'mane':
With fluffy white dk yarn ch21
Row 1: Skip1, (sc3, 2sc in the next st) twice, sc4, (2sc in the first st, sc3) twice. turn
Row 2: Slip3, (sc2, 2sc in the next st) twice sc4, (2sc in the first st, sc2) twice
Fasten off
Sew this to the bottom and sides of the head
For the ears (make 2):
Make a magic loop with 3sc. Don't join. ch1, turn
Row 1: 2sc in the first st, sc, 2sc in the last st (5sc)
Row 2: sc in each st
Fasten off
Sew these to the head just above where the 'mane' finishes
For the facial features:
Embroider the eyes, nose, and mouth onto the face using black dk yarn.
For the stripes:
Use a darning needle and black dk yarn to embroider the stripes onto the tiger.
