Pokemon - mini jigglypuff

This is my third pokemon (after Oddish and Umbreon) but it's a lot smaller and quicker than my other designs - it's a similar size to my pokeball pattern

Difficulty:

Easy - Medium

You will need:

  • 1.5mm crochet hook
  • Thread in white, pink, blue and black (I used cotton but it would probably look better with arylic or something with a lesser stitch defenition)
  • Toy stuffing
  • Darning needle

For the body:
With pink make a magic loop with 6sc
Round 1: 2sc in each st (12sc)
Round 2: sc in the first st, 2sc in the next st, rep to end (18sc)
Rounds 3 - 7: (5 rows) sc in each st (18sc)
Round 8: sc in the first st, sc2tog, rep to end (12sc)
Round 9: sc2tog to end (6sc)
Fasten off

For the hair:
With pink make a magic loop with 6sc
Rounds 1 - 4: (4 rounds) sc in each st (6sc)
Round 5: sc in the first 3 sts, 2sc in the next st, rep to end (8sc)
Round 6: sc in each st (8sc)
Fasten off

Sew the hair onto the top of the head in a quiff, curling the shorter end over and tucking it underneath.

For the eyes:
Using white
fsc8, ss into the 1st st
Fasten off

Using blue
fsc5, ss into the 1st st
Fasten off

Sew the smaller blue section onto the white section and embroider a small white spot onto the corner of the blue circle. Sew the eyes to the front of the head.

For the arms:
With pink make a magic loop with 4sc
Rounds 1 - 2: sc in each st (4sc)
Fasten off

For the feet:
With pink make a magic loop with 4sc
Round 1: sc in the first st, 2sc in the next st, rep to end (6sc)
Rounds 3 - 4: (2 rounds) sc in each st (6sc)
Fasten off

For the ears (make 2):
With pink make a magic loop with 4sc
Round 1: sc in each st (4sc)
Round 2: sc in the first ts, 2sc in each st, rep to end (6sc)
Round 3: sc in each st (6sc)
Fasten off

With black ch3
Row 1: sc in 2nd st from hook, sc in the next st. ch1, turn
Row 2: sc in each st. ch1, turn
Row 3: sc2tog
Fasten off

Sew the black sections onto the pink triangles.
